Hello, I’m Victoria.

Greetings, dear reader! I’m so glad that Fate washed us upon the same shores. Those of us with old stories in our marrow and strange stars in our eyes must stick together, I think.

I suppose you’re here to learn a little bit more about me; I’m quite a private person, but here it goes. My partner and I own The Spiral Bookcase, an independent bookstore in Philadelphia, PA. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Temple University and worked as a reporter once upon a time, writing for The Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia magazine and The Reading Eagle.

Today, the things I write are decidedly less true. I like cemeteries and black tea and old books and anything Art Nouveau and morally grey dark-haired characters and bonfires and weird art. I live for stories.
